General
The Singularity (Designated HUX-A7-13 by its creators) is a twisted combination of flesh and machine. It excels at surveillance and map control with its unique power.
Power
The Singularity's main power is Quantum Instantiation. By pressing the power button, it can aim its weapon, and pressing the attack button while aiming shoots out a Biopod on the surface it targets. Up to 8 Biopods can exist at a time. It can press the secondary power button to switch views with a Biopod. While controlling a Biopod, it can scout the map and gather information, and additionally looking at a survivor through a Biopod for a short duration will tag them with a Temporal Slipstream. The Singularity can teleport instantly to a survivor with a Temporal Slipstream either by looking at them through the Biopod or by shooting them directly with their weapon. Right after teleporting, the Singularity enters Overclocked mode. During Overclock, it vaults windows and breaks pallets much faster and are immune to stuns. Dropping a pallet on the Singularity during Overclock will remove Overclock and slow it down for a bit. Survivors afflicted with a Temporal Slipstream can spread it to other survivors. However, they can also remove it by getting and using an EMP Device scattered across the map. Using an EMP Device also disables nearby Biopods.
Perks
The Singularity comes with 3 unique perks:
Forced Hesitation
When a survivor is put in the Downed state, all nearby survivors suffer from reduced movement speed for a short duration.
Genetic Limits
When a survivor loses a health state, they suffer from Exhausted for a short duration. Exhausted survivors cannot use exhaustion-based perks.
Machine Learning
Damaging a generator marks it. When marked generators are completed, gain a large movement speed bonus and the Undetectable status effect. The Undetectable status effect hides your aura and terror radius.
Playstyle Tips
- Place your cameras around the map, especially common areas where survivors pass through.
- Place your cameras high up, preferably in open areas, to maximize their field of view.
- During the start of a chase, tag a survivor with Temporal Slipstream as soon as possible to fully utilize Overclock.
- Use your power wisely! It is better to teleport to survivors up close by shooting your weapon directly. If they are far away or out of sight, use your Biopods to scout and tag them first.
- Biopods caught within an EMP explosions are disabled for a while. You can minigate this by manually replacing disabled Biopods.
